Xiye Bastida is an inspiring youth climate justice activist born and raised in Mexico as a part of the Otomi-Toltec indigenous peoples. She is now based in New York City and is a leader and organizer of the Fridays for Future movement. Bastida embraces and shares the indigenous belief that if we take care of the Earth, it will take care of us.
